I am happy to inform you that like the past years, Salt Lake City BA Block Residents’ Association will celebrate BANGLA NABOBARSHO,the Bengali New Year (1422), on 15 April 2015 (Wednesday) with the customary fervor and gusto. To make the day memorable, we are organizing a Cultural Programme at Utsarga, our Community Building, from 9‐00 am. The day is important not just for those whose mother tongue is Bengali, but also for many residents who have made Bengal their home no matter that they come from a different linguistic background.
